What is a podcast?
 

A podcast is an audio file that can be downloaded or streamed on any Internet-connected device (laptop, desktop, smartphone, tablet etc.) and listened to on demand.

How do I listen?
 

You can listen by downloading or streaming episodes of Stardust available on iTunes, Stitcher Radio, Tune In and Soundcloud.

Is it compatible with my phone?
 

You can listen to any of our podcasts using the apps made for both Apple and Android devices whether it is a smartphone, tablet or other connected device. iTunes is built for Apple devices ranging from your laptop and desktop to your iPhone, iPod, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple tv or other connected OS device. Stitcher Radio, Tune In and Soundcloud have apps for both Apple and Android platforms so you can listen on any Android device, desktop, laptop and connected device.

What's the difference between downloading and streaming?
 

Downloading means you are saving the episode to your device, whether it is your desktop computer or your smartphone. The episode is available to you even if you are not connected to the Internet. This can be very helpful if you are for example in an area without wi-fi such as on a flight or working out. The episode you download will take up space on your device. You can also have your device automatically sync new episodes so you can receive them automatically. 

Streaming on the other hand, means you are listening to your podcast on demand via the Internet. This requires that you are connected to the Internet continuously and have a relatively fast connection (broadband is sufficient). This is ideal when you are stationary or in an area with consistent reliable wi-fi such as your home or office. Streaming episodes does not take up any space on your device or desktop computer.

What does on demand mean?
 

On demand means you decide when you want to listen. You can start and stop and pick up where you left off anytime. Say for example, you were listening to our podcast while you were driving. You can listen to it on your mobile device when you get home or on your desktop and pick up right where you left off.

You can listen anywhere, anytime. We know you’re busy. You can listen to a podcast while you’re driving, working out, eating, folding laundry, doing dishes or walking the dog - you can listen anywhere! 

 

How do I listen in my car?
 

You can listen via Apple Car Play or Android Auto right in the dash. Listen to any podcast episode while you're driving.

For Apple Car Play, you can listen via the Podcast App and stream right through your speakers. Just search for Stardust in the app and you'll be able to listen right away. 

You can also download either the Stitcher Radio app or the Soundcloud app and listen as well.

For Android Auto, you can listen via the Stitcher Radio app or the SoundCloud app.
