At 23 years of age, Ásgeir has released 2 albums and led 2 global tours. His debut album Dýrð í dauðaþögn (2012) at the age of 21 was Iceland’s biggest selling debut album by a domestic artist, winning 4 Icelandic Music Awards and nominated for the prestigious Nordic Music Prize.

Born on 1 July 1992 and raised in Laugarbakki, a small town in northern Iceland, Ásgeir has traveled to major cities performing in front of large audiences worldwide. He is currently on tour in the United States and Europe. In the Silence (2013) is available in iTunes and at www.asgeirmusic.com.
